Sandy Feet Lodge was a delightful gem nestled near Christchurch, perfect for my recent getaway. Upon arrival, the friendly owner Mary instantly made us feel right at home, like we were visiting family. The rooms were clean and tidy, with comfy beds that embraced us after a day of exploration. I particularly appreciated the small kitchen area, ideal for whipping up a quick breakfast before heading off on adventures around Waimari Beach Park just a stone’s throw away. The lodge also features a lovely garden terrace where we could unwind, which really added to the overall charm. Plus, having a fridge in our room meant we could store some local delicacies for later – a little treat from our travels in and around Christchurch. If you're searching for a cozy retreat with a familial feel, Sandy Feet Lodge is where you want to be; I’ll definitely be back!
